Presenting a Jade, Chalcedony and Sterling Silver necklace circa 1960's.
This gorgeous necklace features faceted rondelles and discs of celadon Chalcedony interspersed with fluted and round beads of Sterling silver. From this necklace is a sliding pendant of aqua Jade and Sterling silver. The necklace measures 18". The Chalcedony rondelles measure 10 mm x 6 mm and the discs are 15 mm x 5 mm. The Sterling silver fluted beads measure 5mm x 3 mm and the smooth are 3 mm x 3 mm. The Jade pendant measures 2.25" x 1.5" x .25" and the necklace weighs 54 grams.
This necklace is in excellent vintage condition with no blemishes or repairs. The necklace is visibly hallmarked 925. JSP testing solution was used to verify the metal content. A Presidium gem tester was used to verify the gemstones. The gemstones were tested with acetone for color fastness. The Jade pendant has been treated with wax and polished on one side, the other was left natural.
