What a delicate and beautiful late Art Deco bracelet! I have never seen one with star sapphires so delicate! This bracelet can be worn every day or dress it up with chandelier earrings! A rare find. This 10k white gold, natural star sapphire, and diamond bracelet, of cast and assembled construction, is in fantastic vintage condition! The bracelet measures 7 1/8” in length, and is comprised of eight white gold, swirl-shaped mountings, measuring from 9.50 to 10.60 mm in width, each bezel-set with one oval cabochon cut star sapphire, connected by white gold links bezel- and bead-set with four single cut diamonds, terminating in a box clasp with figure-eight safety catch. The sapphires display six-rayed stars. In three cabochons, the star is well-centered; in five, the star is to one side. An approximate grand total star sapphire carat weight of 9.2ctw! The 32 single cut diamonds are SI1-SI2 in clarity, G-H in color, measure from 1.10 to 2.00 mm in diameter, and weigh from .01 to .03 carats each. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of .64ctw. The bracelet is unmarked but tests as 10k solid gold and weighs 12.7 grams. An easy to use clasp, a light but fine quality smooth feel. Such a special piece! I will be more than happy to email this piece's current retail replacement appraisal upon completion of sale, just ask! Questions are welcomed on Bracelet-979.
