This Art Deco diamond and emerald treasure is so sophisticated and interesting! Made of platinum, diamond, and natural accent emeralds this treasure is of hand-made construction, circa 1930’s. The ring is made up of a marquise-shaped mounting set with an emerald cut diamond between two trapezoid cut diamonds, with two Old European cut diamonds set into the tips, the shoulders channel-set with four square step cut emeralds and surface-prong-set throughout with Old European and single cut diamonds, on a half-round shank measuring 1.30 mm in width. The emerald cut diamond is SI2 in clarity, G-H in color, measures approximately 5.89 x 4.92 x 3.50 mm, and weighs approximately 0.86 carat. The two trapezoid cut diamonds are VS2 and SI2 in clarity, G-H in color, measure approximately 5.18 x 2.63 x 1.85 mm and 5.50 x 2.53 x 1.63 mm, and weigh approximately 0.20 and 0.18 carat respectively. The twenty smaller diamonds are SI1-SI2 in clarity, G-I in color, measure from approximately 1.90 to 2.36 mm in diameter, weigh from approximately 0.03 to 0.05 carat each, and have an approximate total weight of 0.90 carat. The four emeralds are eye clean, color: B2G80, display 75% brilliance, measure an approximate average of 1.75 mm square, and weigh approximately 0.02 carat each.
