This beautiful late Victorian pristine 1890's natural amethyst and rose cut diamond ring has charm, history, and brilliance at every angle! I love the elaborate regal bezel and especially the era appropriate gold inlay rose cut diamond floral design! The ring comprises an oval mixed cut amethyst, carved and inlaid with a gold flower motif and set with six round rose cut diamonds, in a multiple prong mounting measuring 23.12 x 17.87 mm, at the center of a flat cathedral shank which measures from 2.53 to 5.25 mm in width. The amethyst is eye clean, measures approximately 21.76 x 16.79 x 7.96 mm, and weighs approximately 16.18 carats. The six diamonds are SI2-I1 in clarity, K-L in color, measure an approximate average of 1.35 mm in diameter, and weigh approximately 0.005 carat each. Approximate total gem weight: 16.21 carats. The ring weighs a solid 9.1 grams, is stamped “14K” tested and guaranteed 14k yellow gold, and is currently a finger size 6.75. I will be more than happy to have my trusted jeweler safely re-size this ring for a flat $45 gold sizing fee, just message me prior to checking out to set that up.
