A beautiful Deco find at an affordable price! It is in excellent condition and is different from most 1920's rings I find with the half moon shapes. 18k white gold, diamond, and emerald simulant ring, of hand-made construction, circa 1920’s. The ring comprises an oval filigree mounting measuring 20.22mm x 10.90mm bead-set with one old European cut and two round brilliant cut diamonds, with two half-moon cut lab created emeralds bezel-set at the side edges, on a half-round shank which measures from 1.71mm to 3.72mm wide. The old European cut diamond is SI2 in clarity, H-I in color, measures approximately 3.38mm in diameter, and weighs approximately .14 carats. The two smaller diamonds are SI1 in clarity, H-I in color, measure approximately 2.15mm in diameter, and weigh approximately .04 carats each. The two lab emeralds are eye clean and measure approximately 4.95mm x 1.73mm. Approximate total gem weight: .22 carats. This ring has age appropriate wear and is sold as is- super charming! The ring is stamped “18K” and with a maker’s mark comprising the letter “W” over a v-shaped mark [FW Weaver & Company, Attleboro, MA]. This ring weighs 3.1 grams and is currently a finger size 7.
