Absolutely IN LOVE with this romantic early Edwardian find! A transcendent 18k yellow gold, platinum, diamond, and ruby corundum scroll motif ring, of hand-made construction, circa 1910-1920's! This 'Toi Et Moi' ring has tons of charm and is in great condition for being nearly 100 years old with age expected wear and sold as is. It's truly a piece of art! The ring measures 20.29 x 7.71 mm and comprises two old mine cut diamonds buttercup-set at the terminations of a scroll, between the scrolled ends of the flat yellow gold shank, each bead- and bezel-set with eleven round rose and single cut diamonds, all in platinum-topped gold, joined by a diagonal yellow gold channel set with six square French cut rubies. The antique old mine cut diamonds are SI1 in clarity, G-I in color, measure approximately 3.20 mm in diameter, and weigh approximately .13 carats each. The 22 adorning single and round rose cut diamonds are SI1-SI2 in clarity, G-I in color, measure from approximately 1.35 to 1.90 mm in diameter, weigh from approximately .01 to .03 carats each, and have an approximate total weight of .28 carats. The natural French cut rubies measure approximately 1.50 mm square, and weigh approximately .02 carats each. Approximate total gem weight: .66 carats.
