Don't miss out on this original, beautiful and majestic ring from the 1930's. This ring is made entirely in stamped, tested and guaranteed platinum top with 18k yellow gold shank (maker's mark worn), with 18 twinkling old European cut diamonds, and a gorgeous solid crazed crystal opal with tons of a fire that measures 7.4mm. This mid 1930's ring features a colorful round 7.45mm x 3.00mm thick and the approximate weight is 1.03cts. That opal has green-blue play of color with a broad flash fire pattern! It's much livelier in person! In addition to that beautiful birthstone for October are 18 bead set old European cut diamonds that weigh .02cts each and have the quality grade range of H color, SI1-SI2 clarity (.36ct t.w.). This ring has a grand total diamond and gemstone weight of approximately 1.39ct t.w.. This ring measures 13.50mm North to South, 13.50mm East to West, and is raised 6.5mm off the finger. This outstanding vintage ring weighs 3.80 grams, is currently a finger size 5.5, and my trusted jeweler can safely re-size this up two sizes or down one size free of charge, just ask (additional sizes up will be a flat gold sizing fee, please inquire). It is a beautiful special occasion ring, but if you choose to wear it as an engagement ring, it's up to you! Just be gentle! Opals are very fragile and cannot be worn when exercising, washing dishes, etc. :). Questions are welcomed on Ring-1944.
