This sweet and transcendent brooch from the late 19th century can be worn on a long chain or mixed with other antique brooches on your favorite jacket. It's a romantic heart motif made in 14k yellow gold, with blinding antique cut diamonds and creamy seed pearls as a brooch/pin/pendant, of hand-made construction. This pristine Victorian era brooch comprises an open heart shape individually prong-set throughout with 19 old European cut diamonds, and set with 45 seed pearls around the perimeter and clustered in the center, on a straight pin back with open hook clasp and folding pendant bail. The diamonds are VS1-SI1 in clarity, G-I in color, measure from approximately 1.85 to 2.67 mm in diameter, weigh from approximately 0.02 to 0.07 carat each, and have an approximate total weight of 0.87 carats. The seed pearls are near-round, color: light cream, are lightly blemished to clean of blemishes, and measure from 2.68 to 2.82 mm in diameter. The brooch is unmarked but has been entirely tested and guaranteed to be 18k yellow gold. Total weight: 5.6 grams. It is modeled on a 23" inch chain (not included but if you would like it or any chain please message me for a quote). I will be more than happy to email you a current retail replacement appraisal upon completion of sale, just message me when you have received your piece and I'll gladly type it up in your name and email.
