These miraculous antique rose cut diamond chandelier earrings won't last long! A beautiful heirloom pair of 22k yellow gold and diamond earrings, of hand-made construction, circa 1890's. Each earring measures 2 ¼” long by approximately 1/2" inch wide and comprises a hexagonal mounting holding a center oval mounting prong-set at the center with one oval rose cut diamond, fixed on a French hook earring back, from which is suspended a bell-shaped mounting holding a pear-shaped mounting prong-set at the center with two triangular rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are SI2-I1 in clarity and J-K in color. The two oval rose cut diamonds measure approximately 5.21 x 4.09 mm and 5.45 x 3.98 mm, and weigh approximately 0.23 carat each. The four smaller diamonds measure from approximately 3.61 x 2.80 mm to 4.08 x 3.04 mm, weigh from approximately 0.07 to 0.10 carat each, and have an approximate total weight of 0.34 carat. Approximate total gem weight: 0.80 carat. The earrings are unmarked. Total weight: 10.9 grams. These are for pierced ears only and are light enough to wear comfortably day to night!
