A late 19th century French medaille d'or, champleve and porcelain mounted clock. The movement signed L. Marti et Cie France. Dated 1889. Numbered 774 4 8. The canted rectangular case surmounted by a square cupola and high domed urn and with a floriate finial, the sides and front with inset bevelled glass the cupola and baluster column corners with foliate champleve decoration, on decorated feet, the Arabic dial with all-over brass vine and floral overlay, the brass twin train movement striking on a gong, with mercury-filled floriate pendulum.
