Rare set of six enamel and silver demitasse spoons created by one of the most influential and important silversmiths in Norway. Not only was he a contemporary of Carl Faberge but you may add Louis Comfort Tiffany, Georg Jensen and David Andersen to this mix. Marius Hammer’s career spanned from 1847 to 1927 in Bergen, Norway. The set came with a hand written note, "1914 - This was a wedding gift from family in Bergen Norway"
They come in their original presentation box which is in very nice condition. The box is marked ‘Jeverler M Hammer Strandgaten Bergen’.
The enamel colors comprising this set are cobalt blue, aqua, chestnut brown, pink and a lighter and slighter darker blue.
Each spoon is 4" long.
