This beautiful antique Georgian diamond pendant was handcrafted in silver and gold circa 1800 , in its center a fine quality pear shape rose-cut diamond measuring 7.5 mm x 5.5 mm weighing approx. 0.50 carat ( would weighing approx. 1.00 carat if was an Old European cut diamond), surround by 13 fine glistening rose-cut diamonds of various shape and size, all diamonds are set in oxidized silver close-back settings.
The reverse side of the pendant is made of 14 karat yellow gold.
The pendant comes with a latter chain made in 18 karat white gold.
The pendant is in very good condition , commensurate to age and wear.
Period: Antique Georgian circa 1800.
Pendant : Silver and 14 karat gold, weighing 4.3 gram, acid tested.
Chain: 18 karat white gold weighing 2 gram, acid tested.
Diamonds: One fine rose-cut diamond weighing approx. 0.50 carat measuring 7.5 x 5.5 mm, and 13 rose-cut diamonds of various shape and size.
Pendant : 3.4 cm x 1.5 cm ( 1.33 x 0.60 inch).
Chain: length 46 cm ( 18.1 inches); could also be worn with a length of 43 cm ( 17 inch).
NOTE: In order to preserve the original condition of the jewel, stones have not been removed from their setting. All diamonds weight, color, grade and clarity, unless stipulated otherwise, have been made by measurement formula and comparison.
