This lovely Georgian romantic diamond pendant was handcrafted in 18 k yellow gold and oxidized silver on top, circa 1820 s.
The pendant is created in a stylized daisy design, it features in the centre a glistening rose-cut diamond in a closed back foiled rub-over setting, surrounded with eight petals, set with glistening rose-cut diamonds in closed back settings.
Condition: Very good; the 18 k yellow gold bail is a latter addition.
Period: Antique Georgian circa 1820 s.
Material: 18 k yellow gold and silver, weighing 4.5 gram, acid tested.
Diamonds: the central glistening rose-cut diamond measures 5.7 mm x 4.8 mm; it would weight about 0.60 carat if was a brilliant-cut diamonds. Eight glistening rose cut diamonds measure average 3.4 mm.
Measurements: 1.8 cm diameter (0.70 inch).
