A lovely rare Art Nouveau ring beautifully hand made in 18 K Yellow gold circa 1900.
This beautiful ring was created in a typical Art Nouveau floral design, depicting in the center a transparent deep blue cushion-cut natural Ceylon Sapphire weighing approx. 1 carat, in bezel settings. The ring is embellished with two lively bright sparkling old brilliant-cut diamonds weighing together approx. 0.25 carat, set in coronate settings with Platinum prongs.
Condition: Very good.
Material: 18 k yellow gold and platinum, weighing 5 gram; “horse head” French Province hallmark for the years 1838 - 1919.
Gemstones: One Cushion-cut natural Ceylon Sapphire weighing approx. 1 carat, deep blue color, measuring 6.3 x 5.4 x 2.75 mm.
Diamonds: Two old brilliant-cut diamonds weighing together approx. 0.25 carat, Color F (very white), Clarity VS, measuring 2.9 mm diameter.
Measurements: North to South 1.8 cm (0.70 inch), high on the finger 0.4 cm ( 0.15 inch).
Ring size: Continental: 49 --- US: 5 --- UK: J ½.
