Beautiful and elegant Antique diamond necklace circa 1900 s; finely handcrafted in platinum and gold in a delicate Art Nouveau design.
The elegant Platinum lines of this unique Art Nouveau necklace are encrusted with bright glistening rose-cut diamonds and three sparkling white old –cut diamonds set in collet settings, bordered with fine mill grains. The bottom old cushion cut diamond dangles freely; it is weighing approx. 0.95 carat.
Condition: Very good.
Period: Antique Art Nouveau circa 1900 s.
Material: 18 k yellow gold and platinum, weighing 7.9 gram, acid tested.
Diamonds: At the bottom one old cushion-cut diamond weighing approx. 0.95 carat, measuring 5.3 mm x 6 mm x 4 mm, Color H ( white) , Clarity SI 2 ( inclusions are not divisible with the necked eye), two round old-cut diamonds weighing 0.20 carat and 0.08 carat, Color H , Clarity VS, and 27 white glistening rose-cut diamonds; the weight of rose-cut diamonds is not given.
Approximate total diamond weight (without the rose-cut) is 1.23 carat.
Pendant measurements: North to South 3.5 cm ( 1.37 inch), East to West 3 cm ( 1.18 inch) , necklace length 44 cm ( 17.32 inch).
