This ravishing antique Victorian Emerald and diamond ring was handmade in 18 k yellow gold and platinum circa 1890 s in a classical timeless cluster design.
The ring feathers a fine quality vivid green Colombian Emerald, transparent with a characteristic garden, set in a yellow gold bezel setting, weighing approx. 0.80 carat, surrounded with 15 old European-cut brownish diamonds.
The elegant ring is in very good condition; would make a beautiful engagement ring / gift.
Period: Victorian circa 1890 s.
Material: 18 k yellow gold and a platinum layer, weighing 3.2 gram, acid tested.
Diamonds: 15 old European brilliant cut diamonds weighing approx. 0.45 carat, lively sparkling brownish color, Clarity VS.
Gemstone: One oval-cut transparent vivid green natural Colombian Emerald weighing approx. 0.80 carat measuring 6.7 x 5.4 x 3.1 mm.
Measurements: top of the ring 1.2 cm x 1.1 cm (0.47 x 0.43 inch), high over the finger 0.45 cm (0.18 inch).
