For you collectors of Art Nouveau or Art and Crafts Period pieces, we offer here an outstanding example of Muncie Pottery's `20's - `30's lamp production. This piece is called Scarf Dancers or Dancing Nudes. It has five panels of dancing ladies in various poses. The matte glaze colors really compliment one another. The bronze work is really beautiful and the brass `cap' is showing a nice patina.
Probably the rarest part of this little beauty is the original nude lady finial, unlike some lamps sporting replaced or missing finials. The pottery body is 10 inches high and 9-½ inches wide. The overall height including finial is approximately 28 inches. Lamps in this style are relatively scarce and hard to come by.
This is a fine piece. There is no damage of any kind.
