The pictures probably best describe this Roseville cornucopia, which I am inclined to call a "pitcher/vase". The piece is done in a mixed rusty, brown glaze which blends to a deep olive/brown as the colors descend to the base.
This piece is approximately 5 ¼ inches tall at the highest point. The largest opening in the rim is approximately 2 ¾" x 2 ¾". Overall length is 7 ¼ inches. The base measures 4 ½ " x 3 1/8". There is a single, large open handle on one side.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. There are two areas of color shallowness under glaze; one on the rim and one on the apex of the handle. There is a glaze "blow" and slight clay "pimple" at the base. Please see photos for these details. The high definition of the photos make these two minor flaws look worse than what your eye perceives.
The base is marked: Roseville U.S.A. 182-5"
