A vintage set of Sterling Demitasse Guilloche Enamel Spoons made in Norway. They come to you in a presentation box with cream color lining. The six spoons all have the same pattern, but each is finished in a different color of vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel. The array is quite lovely, ranging from delicate pastels to rich, vibrant jewel-tones. There is one spoon each in mint green, pastel blue, royal blue, lavender, purple, and black. The spoons have a gold vermeil wash, and a lovely design of radiating lines under the translucent enamel with the stylized organic lines. They are enameled on both sides of the handles and the outside bowl as well.
The spoons measure shy 4" (10 cm) long.
Condition very good to excellent. The only sign of wear is on the green spoon, with tiny slivers of enamel missing just at the base of the bowl of the spoon where it connects to the handle, an unfortunate but common occurrence with such spoons. The other five spoons are in excellent condition.
