I've had this Art Deco beauty since the 1980's. She appears to be marble (please see the photo of the pure whiteness of her underside base. NOTE-the spots are museum wax melts.) But I have also marked, "Alabaster" since I am not 100% sure. Her cloche and her draped bodice speak, "Art Deco" to me....while the daring exposed shoulder speak of There is a sensitivity, and beauty to her expression, that says she was carved by a very skilled artist. She stands 6 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches (shoulder-to-shoulder). I have to be honest and say, "Capturing her coloring (purer cream and white) was not easy." But she's a BEAUTY.
