In 14-karat (as stamped) rose gold, a cathedral shank, measuring 2.1 mm. wide, with engraved shoulders, mounted with a natural freshwater pearl. It has semi-baroque oval shape, white color, and beautiful strong rose and green orient.

Inside the shank is stamped a trademark, apparently "W". it rests in a segmented cup, and appears to be quite secure. The finger size is 5 1/4.

Although I do not have a laboratory report for this pearl, which measures approximately 9.7 x 8.2 x about 8 mm. I have shown it to one of the most prominent dealers in natural pearls of United States origin. His opinion was that it is highly probable that it is natural, from this country.

If a buyer desires a report from a qualified research gemological laboratory, I will be happy to discuss how we should proceed.

While it is possible the ring dates from before the 1940's, I am making that as a conservative claim, based on my knowledge of the estate from which it comes. The style is consistent with this period.
