A simple, beautifully sculpted wishbone pin, measuring 1 1/2" long x 3/4" wide at the broadest point, and varying from about 2-4.5 mm. deep.
Of lost-wax cast manufacture, it is in 14-karat yellow gold, as stamped. It is also trademarked "SORET", for Somers Ernst, a company in New York City that began in 1915; after several name and ownership changes, it is no longer in business, as far as I can tell. This piece dates from about 1960, based on it having an older style of catch. The total item weighs 2.6 pennyweights and is in excellent condition.
This pin could easily be converted into a pendant.
