A simple diamond solitaire stickpin in white gold, from around the late 1940s.

It is mounted with a round brilliant cut diamond weighing approximately 0.25 carat, having J color, VS2 clarity and Good cut. The multi-prong setting is of fishtail design. The pin measures 2 1/2" long, is stamped "585" for 14-karat and has the nice touch of a gadrooned shaft. There is an old-style clutch back in white gold plate, which is possibly original to the piece.

The total item weighs 0.7 pennyweight and is in very good condition. It will provide just the right final touch of class to your lapel or scarf.
