This was the largest corn jug that the English factories produced in the 19th century. Smaller versions of this jug were made, but this model is much more impressive. It is quite a heavy, solid piece with a thick glaze that has protected it for well over 100 years. This model dates to about 1880.
It is in superb original condition. There are no imperfections to remark upon.
It is 11-3/8 inches high and about 9-1/2 inches wide from spout to handle.
