A beautiful Regency miniature sewing box.
Dating from around 1810.
Covered in deep red leather with gilt decoration.
The box measures 9cm wide by 5.5 cm by 4cm deep.
The interior of the lid retains the original early print of a young woman.
Inside the sewing box there is a lovely silk covered pin cushion, a leather pin/ needle holder containing tiny pins, a pair of stork scissors, severeal carved cotton reels, tiny thimble, tiny balls of Colton etc.
A most charming early piece for display with your early dolls.
