The double chain measures a tad over 8 inches long and contains a diamond shaped slide. The design on the slide is more diamond shapes but these are in green and rose gold. I tried to photograph it so you could see but it was a bit difficult. The slide has tested at 10k while the chain and swivel are gold filled. The slide measures approximately 3/8 inch by 3/8 inch. If you take a close at the picture you will see that there are two more chains attached to the ring and they probably had some sort of charm or fob attached at one time. I left them on (easily removed) in case a new owner wanted to attach something. This chain could be worn as a bracelet or used for a watch.
Often folks will ask me for some history on an item and after being in this business since the early 70s I usually can’t recall. However, I do remember this as it was one of the first antique watch chains I ever purchased. I was on a trip to Maine in the early 70s and somewhere on the coast I stopped into an antique shop and found this chain.
