Years ago when I purchased this ring I was told it was made to memorialize time served during the Korean War. Although it is not marked silver, it certainly appears to be silver. Some people, over the years, have told me that it is part of “trench art” but I have no way of knowing if that is true.
It is excellent condition and has a lovely design. On the front there are two birds on a branch and one flying above. On one side, 1951 is engraved and on the other Korea. The ring is substantial and weighs 7.9 grams, is a size 10 (approximate). The width (at the widest) is about 3/8” and at the narrowest on the band is ¼”. This is a wonderful collectible and would make a wonderful addition to any military collection. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
