This is a fabulous coral bead pin circa 1870 - 1890 set in unmarked but thoroughly tested 18K gold It features lovely coral beads with delicately engraved ribbons intertwined. In the center is a flower with a lovely coral bead center.
On the back is a Victorian "C" clasp and some small round attachments that probably had some coral beads hanging at one time. The pin measures about 32mm across and weighs 6.9 grams. The pin appears to have a dot of solder in the back on the top at about 12 o'clock and another tiny dot on two of the tiny rings on the back. It is quite lovely and looks wonderful when worn.
