Early Frances Begay bracelet with charm ( some people refer to these as slave bracelets however I do not think that this is an appropriate term in the earlier Native American jewelry). Frances began making jewelry in the 1950's and this is an excellent example of her work.
The teardrop shaped turquoise stones are set in fine saw tooth bezels and interspersed with raindrops. The entire cuff it trimmed in a rope design. The original writing is left on the inside and of course I have not attempted to polish this piece.
It weighs 73.6 grams on my scale and I have provided photos so that you can determine the measurements for yourself.
This piece has very little flexibility and the wrist opening is 2 1/8" however if you warm it up you may get some slight variation in the opening.
I have provided a photo of some of the wonderful pieces that will be in my shop in the next few weeks so please check back.
