Boston School Portrait of an attractive older Woman with a pearl necklace, signed Gurley Hagel, c. 1910 oil painting on canvas. While we haven't discovered anything about the artist or the sitter, this lady's calm presence in our gallery has earned her the nick- name of Lydia. The painting has some older retouching and was strip-lined sometime in the last 20-40 years. It is installed in a newer frame, and is in generally good condition with minor signs of wear and age, as can be seen in the photos. The frame size is 29x24 inches.
