Beach Crowd is the title of this c.1970 etching by American artist Chaim Koppelman (1920-). It is an energetic and patterned rendering of a crowded amusement park. A roller coaster snakes its way through the crowded grounds, and a Ferris wheel dominates the skyline.
Frame size is 18 1/2" x 22 1/2".
The etching plate is 10 1/2" x 14 3/4". It is being offered as-found, matted under glass in a custom-made brown wooden frame. The frame shop's label is on the back, identifying it as being framed in New Haven, Connecticut. The frame shows some wear, but the print is in good condition with minor toning.
