Massachusetts painter Thomas Eaton created this charming watercolor painting around 1950 . It has the pleasant look of rural New England on a calm winter day, and shows a farm in winter and two boys fishing at a stream which cuts a blue line through the snow-covered fields.
The artist signed the front of the watercolor, which is painted on a buff toned paper (not bright white). It is freshly matted with acid-free materials and mounted in its original wooden frame which was white-washed by the artist. Painting size = 14"x20", Frame size = 23"x30"
