Cambridge Pottery was made in Cambridge, Ohio, from about 1895 until World War I. The factory made brown glazed decorated artwares with a variety of marks, including an acorn, the name Cambridge, Oakwood, or Terrhea. Cambridge is one of the minor art pottery companies and because they worked only about twenty years, usually there is not much to be found.
Here we are lucky to have a beautifully hand painted 2 1/2 inch tall Cambridge Squat Vase available. This squat saucer vase has pretty hand painted pansies on the body but like most pieces are not artist signed. This vase is in outstanding original condition.
Outstanding vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, minor crazing, no repairs.Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
All pictures are original and un-edited. Authentic Cambridge Art Pottery. Height: 2 1/2", Base: 2 5/8" , Rim: 1 1/4" ID 2345b
