The Louwelsa line of pottery was made between the 1896 until 1924. The Louwelsa line was offered in many brown undertones with various floral and portrait depictions. This line is likely to have crazing due to the firing high gloss manufacturing process.
This 4 3/8 inch tall vase is a well executed depiction of a single cherry on a stem. This is an unusual subject matter to be done to such remarkable detail.
Excellent original condition undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs, no crazing. The white dots are light reflections as well as the white square-shaped reflections. The high gloss makes it difficult to photograph.
Guaranteed authentic. Marked Louwelsa Weller with shape number. All pictures are original and un-edited. Height: 4 3/8", Rim:1 1/2", Base: 1 5/8" ID2342a
