Brush Pottery, mid-1930's Glo Art Vase #756.
This early Brush Pottery Glo Art vase was produced around the mid-1930's. The combination of colors, orange and green, are well mixed. Some may mistake this for a piece of Muncie Pottery because of the matt glazes since Muncie used very similar colors. The number on the bottom identifies this as Brush Pottery. It is an excellent above-average piece that displays well and will not disappoint.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no crazing, no repairs and no restoration. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including holes and glaze misses. There is no evidence of repair or modification. The white spots are studio light reflections. Dimensions are below.
Authentic, vintage Brush Pottery. Appropriately numbered.
