Rookwood vase, pink and green mat glaze with geometric design. Designed by Albert Cyrus Munson, this lovely Rookwood vase from 1920 displays pleasing mat pink and green glaze. An early roductionware piece, it is wonderfully incised with an interesting geometric design.
The glaze is expertly and richly applied with what appears to be intentional peppering, and the piece is completely without crazing. It is free from chips, cracks, or repairs, and is in excellent original condition. Shape number 2434, it displays well, and is a great piece to accent any arts and crafts decor.
Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect any evidence of repair or modification. Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description.
