The Louwelsa line of pottery was made between the 1896 until 1924. So here is your chance to own a piece of Weller pottery history! The Louwelsa line was offered in many brown undertones with various floral and portrait depictions. This line is likely to have crazing due to the firing high gloss manufacturing process. This is marked Weller Louwelsa and can be seen in the last picture.
This is a well executed depiction of a wild rose in orange that is hand painted. This is a great smaller vase with a tri-foot base. Great decorator piece. Pictures do not do it justice. Displays well from all angles.
Undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. As you can see by the pictures, this vase does have very fine underglaze crazing which is barely detectable when viewing this in person.
Please review the high resolution macro pictures because they are part of the description. The high resolution pictures magnify the crazing and other marks that are not detectable when viewing the vase. Please review them carefully and contact with any questions. The white dots are light reflections as well as the white square-shaped reflections. The high gloss makes it difficult to photograph. I cannot detect any evidence of repair or modification. Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description. The pictures are taken with a macro lens which show exceptional detail.
