The Roseville Pottery 1915 Carnelian II line is heavier and simpler in appearance when compared to their other pottery lines. The mottled, dripping glazes include amber, green, purple, red, pink, teal and mauve. Pieces are unmarked or have a paper label. This is a great collectible line sure to please any collector. It is a perfect example of the Arts and Crafts period.
Here we have a fine example of a Carnelian II vase. The shape of this vase is very pleasing and has wonderful applied angular handles. The mauve color incorporates various shades with browns and some greens. We like to call this glaze "Cotton Candy". Perfect arts and crafts style to add to any collection. Displays perfect from all sides.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops. I cannot detect an repairs on this piece. Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description. The pictures are taken with a macro lens which show exceptional detail. Please review each picture carefully and contact with any questions.
