This is a Humphrey Inverted Arch Lamp in the Original Condition . This is a very cool gas light circa 1901 -1920's. Its in real nice original condition and is complete.
The top portion of the lamp is porcelain over tin, the pole is brass , original burner is still in place. There is a real nice globe , on the bottom of the globe is etched "Humphrey Inverted Patented " .
On the side is a lever that is used to control the gas flow , and also adusts the flame size. The lamp measures 36" long when hanging.
Condition: overall is nice, the porcelian has a small chip on the cap where the pole is inserted and is possible that there maybe another flake or two off. The cap has some discoloration from the smoke and heat. I did notice a small chip on the edge of the glass globe where it screws into the base but cannot be seen when assembled.
