For your consideration, this is a nice 1920's circa 14k gold filigree ring. The ring has a nicely carved Shell cameo that depicts a woman wearing a beautiful Diamond necklace, to which the diamond is embedded in the shell of the cameo itself, hence the expression " Habille" A French expression for a jewel within a jewel .
The current ring size is a 6, the setting measures 3/8" from top to bottom and 1/4" wide, stamped 14K .
The setting is white gold and is pierced around the setting and onto the shank. The cameo on the right side lower portion has either a tiny break off of shell during the setting process very hard to notice without magnification . The stone moves slightly in the setting but is still very secure with prongs holding on the top bottom and both sides. weight: 2.6 grams. Very pretty and very dainty
