The is a beautiful egg shell matte glaze Muncie bud vase that is mauve at the base and moves up to a verigated moss color at the top. The vase stands 10 1/2" tall and it is 3 1/2" in diameter at the bulbous base. These colors are pale and rich done with expert finesse as if it were made by Ruben Haley. The Muncie Clay Product Company started in 1919 and closed just at the end of the Depression in 1939. This vase is not signed which was common at that time. there are pencil marks of 4& 715. There is a chip on the bottom which is just what might have happen when it was removed from the drying rack between glazes. It does not effect the vase in any way and is unseen without examination of the bottom.
