This is a bow tie pin made by Monet in the 1950's. It is sterling base and has been gold plated which has tarnished to look like vermeil. The pin is 3" long and 2" high, it is also 1/2" high with it's curling sides. The pin is signed on the back Monet sterling. It has a high set pin back above the middle so it sits well at the collar to look like an actual gold bow tie. this is a very good looking well made and heavy pin in very good condition.
