This is a fabulous early Trifari crown marked sterling fur pin shaped in a comma. It measures 2 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. Since it is Pat. Pend. I would guess it is from the 1940's. The double prong pin clip consist of large round rhinestones set in a rhodium plated fur pin that arches around in a semi circle. These large stones are surrounded by a field of tiny round rhinestone. Some of the smaller stones have very slightly yellowed and the sterling has some pitting. Baguettes punctuate the pin on two sides of the curve. The pin claps at the bottom of one of the two pins for security. It is in very good vintage condition.
