This is a pretty pencil and watercolor of sandy beach and bridge by listed American water colorist Alexander Pehmoller. The painting is signed and dated 1939. The tiny artwork piece measures 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high. It is 2001 custom framed in archival material and non glare glass. The mat is a dusky blue that matches the sky and brush in the watercolor. The frame is a simple slate grey and measures 12 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" high. The condition is excellent. The artist is listed Who's who in American Art and the 1930 Society of International Artists. I have owned this little treasure for many years and just found it again today in a box of shipping materials. I have been looking for it since about 2007 when I moved to Northern California.
