This is a pretty painting of green grapes that I purchased unframed in a Santa Barbara vintage store. It is a still life of bunches of grapes on a table. The painting measures 16" high by 12" wide. I could not read the artists' name beyond the Jean. I have framed the painting in a cheerful green frame with a gold filet measuring 21 1/2" high by 17 1/2" wide.
It has hung in my various kitchens over the years because it is a good
reminder of the fruit of our labors. I currently live in an area filled with grapes on the vine and famous wines. The condition of the painting and
frame is very good. Had it not been framed, the painting would have fallen apart as it has lifting and paint chips on one corner now framed over properly. My best guess is that the painting is from the 1950's.
