This is a painting of the hiking trail of Jack London State Park in Glenn Ellen, California. This region of Santa Rosa was recently effected by the Tubbs fire and will be remembered as a treasure. This oil on canvas painting was done by deceased artist Joanne Matthews who is known regionally for her Sonoma images. The painting is in excellent condition and was recently shown in an all California plein air exhibit at the wonderful C.McQueen Gallery. The painting measures 20" high by 24" wide. The image is 16" " high by 19" wide. It is framed in a wide gold frame. The painting is signed J. Matthews '97. The condition is excellent.
