This is a unique Art Deco period necklace and detachable fur clip all rolled into one piece. The clasp is marked sterling and the body of the necklace is rhodium plated. The necklace measures 27" long by 1 1/2" wide. The body of the necklace is carved turquoise carved beads with a rhinestone clasp. The elaborate center piece is covered in rhinestones. It has a detachable fur clip that is the tasseled portion. The tassels are glass beads, rhinestone roundels and round rhinestone encrusted large beaded bottom. The fur clip alone is 4" long. This piece is from the estate of a long retired costume jewelry dealer. When I found it, it was still packed in her old travel bag. The condition is very good. There are two several clear rhinestones missing. In the days that se was selling this would have been considered killer, by todays standards it is a Masterpiece in design and workmanship.
