This is a very rare copper picture frame. It stands 8 1/2" tall by 6" wide. The frame is self standing with it's own easel and the picture opening measures 5 1/2" high by 3 3/4" wide. The decorations on the frame are raised with flags of many nations, a bi-plane (1903) and several ships. The # 19342 also appears next to the ship. I am sure this is referencing some conflict that is pre WW1, but I am not an expert in such things. Note the American flag has thirty six stars that would mean it was from 1865-1867. I would expect this frame to have great interest to a historian who will know what it signifies. The condition and craftsmanship of the frame is excellent.
