This is an exquisite pair of fabric panels that are hand stitched. Each panel has a wide fine lace inset. Topping the lace are vines, flowers and leaves of finely worked gold bullion flowers, vines and leaves. There is gold scroll geometric trim over another maroon cotton fringe. The fringe at the bottom is braided gold bullion. The panels are backed with a maroon colored silk like fabric. They are in excellent condition with fabulous workmanship and pride of craftsmanship is apparent. The panels measure 12" long including the fringe on the top and the fringe on the bottom. Each panel is 16" wide side to side. They may have bee valances. All of the edges are complete none of the bullion is pulled. There is slight separation in places on the lace. These pieces are what I would be considered mint condition. They were purchased out of a family trunk and wrapped in old fabric. There is no smell and this is a non smoking home. I am offering them online rather than in my store so they are handled by few hands before they get to you in pristine condition. I have worn cotton gloves while handling them.
