This is a tested and appraised platinum and diamond ring that I am selling for a retired antiques jewelry dealer. We have not as yet found the appraisal but it will accompany this ring in a gift appropriate box when sold. The solitaire has one brilliant cut diamond weighing 0.58 carat. It is good color and light saturation but it is not eye clean. There is one dot spot right smack in the middle of the diamond. It can be seen by eye looking into the stone but not from the side or back. This is how old diamonds were cut and it is called a culite cut. The shank of the ring has decorative scrolling and it has been tested platinum. The interior of the ring has script initials. The condition of the ring is very good. It is currently a size 5 and it can be made larger or smaller by a qualified jeweler.

The retailer in me wants more dimension, color, texture and artistry. Beauty or whimsey are a must.
